Whether playing a game of chess, cooling down from the warm summer heat in the inviting plunge pool, or lying on the deck watching a herd of elephant drinking at the watering hole close by, Thuleni invites you to relax. Surrounded by beautiful open spaces and exquisite landscapes, life's stresses simply melt away.
Because Manyoni Private Game Reserve is situated in an area that is renowned for its spectacular game viewing, conservation efforts and rich cultural background, there is also so much to do on the reserve itself. It is a premier big five wildlife destination and focuses on endangered species conservation, which includes reintroducing cheetah and wild dogs. Guests staying at Thuleni will have the opportunity to participate and assist in the dehorning of rhino on the estate, as a part of the conservation efforts to protect the vital black and white rhino population, as well as learn more about the protection, rehabilitation and monitoring of the Temmincks Pangolin. Another significant part of the reserve's diverse conservation efforts includes the introduction of wild dog, and looking for these 'painted wolves' makes a wonderful safari experience for guests.
